The Basics

What Is CrossFit?

CrossFit is constantly varied functional movements performed at high intensity. In other words, it’s a fitness method that encompasses a little bit of everything (cardio, power lifting, Olympic weightlifting, gymnastics) so you’ll never get bored!

What is RedLine?

We like to call this “CrossFit Lite” – all the fun and intensity of CrossFit without the technical movements. The emphasis is on building cardiovascular endurance with strategic interval training.

What do all those acronyms stand for?

Why write something when you can abbreviate it!?!?

WOD – Workout of the Day
AMRAP – As Many Rounds/Reps As Possible
EMOM – Every Minute On the Minute
Rx – As Prescribed
KB – Kettlebell
DB – Dumbbell
PR – Personal Record

Is CrossFit Safe?

Yes! Our experienced and qualified coaches will guide you step-by-step through your workout to ensure that you stay safe and get the most effective workout possible. Leave your ego at the door and know your limits and you’ll be just fine!

I have an old knee/hip/back/ankle (etc) injury – will I be able to do the workouts?

Yes! A lot of us come with baggage, including nagging injuries. The cool thing is that CrossFit is COMPLETELY modifiable to accommodate whatever you’ve got going on. Just let your coaches know what you’re dealing with so we can help you make the appropriate changes to ensure that you still get an awesome (and SAFE) workout!

Will I Get Bulky?

Only if you want to!

But seriously, can *I* do CrossFit?

The answer to that is a resounding YES! CrossFit is for everybody and every body. You do NOT need to “be in shape” to start. Our classes are designed to be completely scalable to whatever your current ability level is, so you’re guaranteed to get an amazing workout no matter what amount of experience you have. Our Facility

Do you have showers?

Yes!! We have 2 showers, plus 2 additional bathrooms.

What’s the parking situation?

We have a LARGE parking lot that we share with a couple of neighboring businesses. There are plenty of spaces to go around, plus ample street parking, should you ever need it. Our parking lot is VERY active, so please drive safely!

Do you have a water fountain?

We have a spigot that dispenses filtered water. It’s not the coldest water, but it’ll keep you hydrated! Just keep a hand on the handle – it likes to stick :/
